SLM Solutions: Management Board contract extension

Lübeck, March 31, 2017 – The Supervisory Board of SLM Solutions Group AG, a leading provider of metal-based additive manufacturing technology, has implemented an early contract extension for Management Board member Henner Schöneborn until June 30, 2018. Mr. Schöneborn will be responsible for the areas of Research & Development, Product Management as well as “Corporate Development & Innovation”. He has already worked for SLM Solutions and its predecessor companies since 1993.

“As a consequence, Henner Schöneborn and Uwe Bögershausen will be members of the Management Board of the SLM Solutions Group until at least summer 2018,” notes Supervisory Board Chairman Hans Joachim Ihde. “For us this is an important signal of continuity and stability for the company’s further development. We are also making good progress with the CEO reappointment. We have already conducted discussions with candidates, who fit our profile well, and we are consequently also very optimistic about how this process is moving forward.”
