KPS AG: Envoy Digital Ltd. becomes part of KPS AG
London/Munich, 12 February 2018 – KPS AG (WKN: A1A6V4 / ISIN: DE000A1A6V48), the European market leader in digital transformation for retail, takes over Envoy Digital Limited, one of the leading agencies for omnichannel e-commerce in the United Kingdom. The takeover continues the international expansion strategy of KPS AG and extends its leading market position as a consultant for digital transformation in Europe.
Envoy Digital Limited was founded in 1997, and today it is one of the leading e-commerce agencies in the United Kingdom and a renowned implementation partner for SAP Hybris. The e-commerce pioneers contribute a track record of experience in more than 200 customer projects, are an SAP Partner Centre of Expertise, and are particularly committed to certification of processes and employees, and high-quality systems. Envoy Digital achieved SAP Hybris Gold Partner status in 2017 and won the SAP Partner Excellence Award 2017 in acknowledgement of their quality and performance. Furthermore, the performance-oriented approach of the British specialists places consumers at the center and secures a competitive advantage for customers in the omnichannel space. Envoy Digital uses SAP Hybris to connect in-store and online shopping, creating a joined-up customer experience at all touchpoints. The customers of Envoy Digital include Dreams, UK’s leading bed retailer, OFFICE shoes and L.K.Bennett, a leading fashion company in the luxury segment. It is notable that Envoy generates around 50 % of its turnover through the takeover and successful realization of critical projects that had previously grounded to a halt in the hands of competitors.
“With Envoy Digital we take our internationalization strategy to the next level. As a leading consulting partner for digital transformation, we are continually increasing speed and efficiency in all our projects with the KPS Rapid Transformation Method. The areas of expertise held by Envoy Digital optimally complement the service portfolio of KPS. In this constellation, we have a significant advantage compared with the competition and will be able to successfully make use of opportunities arising from changes in political and business framework conditions,” said Leonardo Musso, Chief Executive Officer of KPS AG.
“It is our ambition to offer our customers long-term and reliable state-of-the-art e-commerce services. KPS and Envoy Digital are united by the vision of always providing the best quality service for each individual customer. This is already highlighted very clearly by the focus on best practice, high-end development work and project governance of both companies. We will continue to offer outstanding support to our customers implementing their global digital initiatives, also after Brexit,” commented Barnaby Moffat, one of the managing shareholders and founders of Envoy Digital Limited.
A confidentiality agreement has been established between the parties about the modalities of the takeover.
